Women in Entrepreneurship
Women entrepreneurs in Pakistan play a vital role in empowering communities and boosting the economy. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PK-WO provides women with platforms to showcase and upscale their businesses through competitions, networking and workshops.
On June 1, 2024, Parwan-e-Khanum, in collaboration with Peshawar Model Schools, organized a session titled “Entrepreneurial Skills in Teenage Girls” for Grade 9, 10 and O’Levels students at PMS Girls-V. The session featured Ms. Laiba Durrani, a dynamic young entrepreneur, who shared her experiences and insights into the business world. Her journey inspired the students, providing practical advice and motivation. The Q&A round allowed students to explore entrepreneurial concepts and seek advice on starting a business.
